This is the 2nd documentary of the 3-part series from Veteran FRONTLINE producer Michael Kirk regarding the GFC.

The trilogy starts to shape the narrative of what happened around the Global Financial Crisis:

- Episode #2 Breaking the Bank {link}: the merger Bank of America and Merrill Lynch. How the merger of Bank of America (the US largest bank) and Merrill Lynch was supposed to help save the American financial system. However the Lehman Brothers bankruptcy set off a destructive chain reaction, and it became clear that the initial plan had not worked. Within days, the entire global financial system was collapsing.
